This project incorporates traditional keramba fish-trapping with aquaculture to empower residents of Siak to process snakehead fish into albumin extracts for pharmaceutical and cosmetic product companies. The project will increase the livelihoods of local residents and create incentives to maintain healthy hydrological conditions in the peatland and surrounding areas.
